I deliberately chose a beta‑study because I wanted to be challenged by demanding technical courses with a practical approach, while keeping room for creativity. That is why I studied Mechanical Engineering and later grew from hands‑on analysis into data and IT leadership. After roles at ASML, I joined Vogel’s Holding B.V. to set up the Business Intelligence function, design the data architecture, and develop and execute the data strategy. I now lead the Business Intelligence & IT domain (BI, workplace, cybersecurity, applications, infrastructure).
I applied for the Marina van Damme grant to build out and accelerate my development towards end‑to‑end IT leadership. With the grant, I am deepening my knowledge of IT governance, digital transformation, and risk‑based decision‑making around cybersecurity, so I can translate strategy into secure, user‑friendly technology that truly moves the business forward.
Looking ahead, my ambition is executive leadership that bridges technology, data, and strategy. I want to build organisations that keep pace with technological developments and place data‑driven working at the centre. I enjoy bringing people along in this change and taking a practical approach, so everyone can make better decisions every day.
Becoming part of the Marina van Damme Network is inspiring to me. Joining such a large group of ambitious women who push boundaries across disciplines and keep developing with enthusiasm motivates me to keep raising the bar.
