About Thelma

In 2000 I graduated from the Applied Educational Sciences program at the University of Twente. After gaining experience in business and education, I started my own company Didactus consultancy & development in 2004 with the aim of providing educational services that focus mainly on didactics: “The art of teaching” (Van Dale). Here, theory doesn’t play the biggest role but rather experience. Learning by doing is Learning that works.
I support teachers in the development of good teaching, such as with the conception and deployment of active(r) forms of work and the use of new media. People call me enthusiastic, reliable, structured and solution-oriented. With my enthusiasm and approach I know how to stimulate others to develop and implement innovations in education.
On November 10, 2005 I received the Marina van Damme prize, because as a starting female entrepreneur I had built up a large and diverse clientele in a very short time. I do my work with great enthusiasm and commitment. This leads to satisfied customers and a well-filled order portfolio. I worked for the Police Academy and the University of Twente for more than 10 years.
Since April 2010 I have been a BCL (Brain Central Learning) professional and I can set up learning programs smarter and faster with more learning efficiency by using brain knowledge. My plans are to keep developing as an education specialist to continue my contribution to good education.
