On May 12, for the 20th time in a row, the Marina van Damme grant 2022 was awarded to an alumna of the University of Twente, during the celebration of their dies natalis. The winner was Nicole Vermeulen; the runner-up prize went to Mariëlle Feenstra.

Mrs. van Damme and several previous winners and members of the network were present to congratulate them.

The winner Nicole Vermeulen will spend the 9000€ on an accredited program at ‘the Institute of Directors’ in the UK. With the knowledge gained, she will be better able to make her contribution to the energy transition in her role as a (non-)executive board member.

You can hear more about her plans in the wonderful video interview UT conducted with her.

Welcome to the network Nicole!
