Last Thursday, 11th of May, three ambitious women, nominated out of 18 applications, presented their plans for the grant. After their inspiring pitches, the jury had to select a winner. The quality was so impressive that they decided to hand out two grants! The third participant, Ludovic Cassina, received the runner-up prize.

Mei Ling Tan, Faculty of Technology, Policy and Management, has a personal mission to improve access to capital for women entrepeneurs. She will use the grant to follow the Oxford Private Equity Programme.

Oleksandra Ivashchenko, Faculty of Applied Sciences, had an impressive scientific career, and made the switch to management. She will use the grant to follow the MBA course in healthcare management at Amsterdam Business School.
