About Jetty

I was fascinated by technology from a young age, and with my parents working in healthcare, I found my passion in biomedical engineering. During my PhD at the Technical University of Delft, I realized that the gap between research and the market was hampering the progress of promising technologies. To tackle this issue, I secured a position at the technology transfer office of the Erasmus Medical Center. My scientific background from the University of Twente and the Technical University of Delft equipped me to understand the research projects at Erasmus MC, but I relied on on-the-job learning and intuition to learn about technology transfer.
I used the Marina van Damme grant to extend my knowledge and network in technology transfer and valorization. After working at Erasmus MC, I ventured into entrepreneurship with ExoVectory. Though it was short-lived, I have had various roles in technical healthcare innovations throughout my career, providing me with a multifaceted perspective on innovation.
In 2019, I founded Care for IMPACT to leverage my experience in helping innovators find optimal solutions to relevant problems and propel them towards making a positive impact.
