On 26 June, the Marina van Damme Ceremony took place for alumnae of TU Delft. Due to the extreme heat and a red weather alert, this year’s ceremony was held online. From a field of four candidates, two ultimately received the Marina van Damme grant.
Astrid Moerman currently works as Programme Manager for Research & Innovation at HollandPTC, where she develops strategic partnerships to help bring medical innovations into clinical practice more quickly. With the scholarship, she plans to pursue training in Strategic Programme Management and Design Thinking to further strengthen her leadership, stakeholder management, and innovation capabilities, enabling her to increase her impact on healthcare.
Nadia Remmerswaal is the Programme Lead for MondriAI at ROC Mondriaan. She is developing an approach for the responsible use of AI in vocational education that is now being adopted at the national level. With the scholarship, she intends to pursue the Master’s in AI Ethics and Society at the University of Cambridge to further advance ethical AI development and policymaking in education.
